sin cesar (formerly Dryland)

Padilla founded sin cesar, an independent print literary in her hometown of South Central LA in 2015. The journal aims to publish the best in Black & Brown voices and imag. Since then they have published hundreds of new, emerging, and established poets, artists, and writers such as Harry Gamboa Jr. & Patrick Martinez.
